This forced aerial perspective of Memphis, TN was done for the Memphis Area Arts Council, to promote its Community Fund for the Arts, which was used to support various art venues and activities for people living in or visiting the Memphis area. Each venue/activity was designated by exaggerated iconic items – music – theater – arts – museums.
The Medium
The base line-art was done in Painter software using a Wacom tablet on a Mac. After the line art was approved, the watercolor background was added, also in Painter. The final file was delivered to the client, who used it to print a foldout poster for their target audience.
